Soil Renaturation in Welzow Germany

In Welzow we were faced with the challenge of renaturing the soil of a former colliery area and converting the sandy and stony soil back into agricultural land.

The PH value was around 4. No microbiology was found. No humus, no worms, no nutrients.

We carefully inoculated the soil with our microorganisms and laid out our special fertilizer. Because of our great knowledge of the plant world, we were able to take the right mix of fertilization and planting to bring the soil back to a very good level within a year.

After about 15 months we had a completely green area with a humus layer of about 40 cm. Earthworms were found in the soil again. The microbiology and soil chemistry were brought back to their origins.

The PH value was raised back to the optimal 7. The shrubs and plants we planted all grew vigorously without the use of mineral fertilizers or other chemical enhancers.

This knowledge and our unique products can counteract disertification and convert destroyed areas back into active agricultural areas.
